The Mustang Baseball Academy is excited to announce that it has restructured the program and is starting its sixth season!

The goal of our Academy is to work with all youth ball players residing in and around the Village of Evergreen Park through our program; travel teams, camps, classes, and lessons.  We have a very talented and experienced staff that would like to make an impact on all players through proper instruction to increase their love of the game.  Please join our mailing list to get updates on all of our offerings.

          Our program is based out of the Evergreen Park High School Sports Complex located at 2700 W. 91st St. which includes a 210’ by 150’ indoor facility that houses two full infields and 3 drop down batting cages. We are also adding new hitting and pitching areas for medicine ball and plyo work this year. This state of the art facility  is an incredible place for our youth players to improve their game. Our partnership allows the MBA Staff of college and high school coaches to partner with youth coaches to create a direct feeder program for the EPCHS Baseball Program. Very few local villages have this opportunity for their youth ballplayers.

         We have already seen this relationship pay dividends for the EPCHS varsity team as quite a few former MBA players.  Grady Elwood ‘24 finished with a 9-1 record; 9 wins placed 3rd in wins in the entire state of 3A teams.  The 2023/2024 season Billy Duffner '25, Caleb Keyser '27, Michael Rodriguez '25, Noah Munoz '27 & Rowan Smyth '25 all played key roles in helping the Mustangs win a Conference Championship.  This last season Louie Ayala, Brady Bruen, and Michael Koziczkowski class of 2028 joined the Varsity team  to help them brake a new school record of 27 games won. 

 

Next year we expect to see even more former MBA players contribute to the high school program’s success.  We want every youngster in Evergreen Park to be a part of the Mustang Baseball Academy and would love to see your son participate in our programs!
